Technical Information

Electrical Power

Electrical power: three-phase power supply with a main switch located next to the power panel; the system uses a 55 kW / 220 V frequency inverter with a 250 A main circuit breaker. Power is supplied only when all access points are closed.

Compressed Air

Compressed air required for pneumatic actuators; periodic draining of the compressed air filter is recommended.

Grounding

Grounding: safe and reliable grounding; the equipment is self-grounded, and the high-voltage output line must not touch the ground.

Networking and Automation

Network and automation: Altus Nexto NX3004 PLC and HVEX data acquisition module; configurable IP communication (for DP testing, there are IP and remote PC port parameters).

Physical Structure

Physical structure: space for the panels (power, control, and induced), high-voltage circuit, test cell with conveyor belts and doors/windows, and an equipment room for the area scanner.

HVEX Routine Testing Laboratory

The HVEX Routine Testing Laboratory is a comprehensive, automated platform for testing instrumentation transformers (TPs and TCs). Designed to combine productivity and safety, it integrates power, control, and induced voltage panels; a high-voltage circuit; a test cell with conveyor belts; and proprietary operating and analysis software. The system performs applied voltage, induced voltage, and partial discharge tests, automatically switching connections and allowing up to six test specimens of the same class to be tested per cycle. From equipment registration to the issuance of a standardized report, the entire process is conducted through a single interface—with a robust set of safety devices monitoring each step.
