Automated Laboratory for Transformers and Motors
The HVEX laboratory combines test sources, measuring instruments, automation and software in a compact solution that can be installed in a container. It is configured for routine testing of transformers or motors according to the equipment and supply scope. For motors, the solution covers applications up to 2 MVA. The power supply, instrumentation and test sequences are sized according to the motor voltage, current, frequency and characteristics. The test scope and operating conditions are defined for each laboratory project. For transformers, the configuration can integrate no-load and load loss measurement, excitation current, short-circuit impedance, applied voltage, induced voltage, winding resistance, turns ratio and polarity. Applicable tests are defined according to the transformer characteristics and the contracted configuration. Software control enables sequence parameterization, result recording, equipment history and report generation. Integration of instruments and safety features supports standardized routines and test traceability.
