With configurable output voltage from 0 to 1200 kV (AC or DC) and output frequency from 10 Hz to 300 Hz, HVEX HIPOT systems offer flexibility and precision for a wide range of factory acceptance tests, assessing the integrity of transformers, insulators, surge arresters, cables, splices, connectors, spacers, PPEs, and EPCs, among other products. Results are presented in exportable graphs, simplifying analysis and record-keeping. With power ranging from 5 to 500 kVA (or up to 7.5 MVA in resonant mode), harmonic distortion (THD) below 5%, and measurement uncertainty below 1%, precision is guaranteed. Essential for component certification in electrical systems, HVEX HIPOT equipment integrates a high-voltage step-up transformer and a set of voltage dividers for precise control of applied voltage. Dielectric withstand capability is assessed based on the absence of visible degradation, changes in insulation characteristics, electrical tracking, or erosion after exposure. Featuring robust electrical protections against overcurrent (50, 51, 51GS) and overvoltage (27, 60, 61, 64), continuous operation in temperatures from 0°C to 75°C, and adjustable voltage ramp time, HVEX HIPOT power supplies are the ideal choice for high-voltage laboratories, the electrical industry, and R&D sectors demanding reliability and superior performance in insulation testing.
